Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th President of the United States and served from 1969 until 1974. He is the only president to ever resign from office. He was also the 36th Vice President of the United States serving from 1953 until 1961.
President Richard Nixon is best known for his role in the Watergate scandal and ending the Vietnam War. However, he is also known for his famous interview with a British talk show host that he gave after his ousting as President.
