Two Royals Make Olympic Team

Twenty-four minor leaguers were chosen earlier today to play for the Olympic qualifiers later this month.

Two of these were from the Kansas City Royals; Jonah Bayliss P and Billy Butler OF.

Only players not on the major league roster as of Aug. 31 are eligible. Which is why only minor leaguers and college players are available during the Olympic games.
