Kansas City Star | 05/31/2006 | Royals fire Baird to clear path for hiring Moore as GM
Funny thing really. Finally the Royals have a new GM, and I couldn’t be more excited. After all the crap the fans and players have been through, now things are ready to change. Moore has been head of player development in Atlanta, but will now control all on the field matters in KC. Moore is originally from Wichita, so he will be able to add a little hometown flavor in the mix.
Good luck Moore, we need you buddy!
