Valentine’s Come and Gone - And so did the visitors

Monday and Tuesday were my two biggest days so far. Both days had over 6,500 unique visitors and over 35,000 page views.

The final numbers for Valentine’s Day were as follows: 7,575 unique visitors and 49,114 page views. By far, the biggest for each day.

Before Monday, PoemofQuotes largest day was around 5,000, which was New Years, so by far the largest day.

As mentioned in an earlier post, I have been and will be working on the W3C aspect of the website for the time being. Either in between doing so or after, I will be working on the next big poetry holiday, Mother’s Day, and perhaps write an article for Poetry Month, which is April.

It’s funny how things played out on Tuesday. I received about twice as many visitors as a normal day, but yet made no more than what I would have without it. The clicks were way up, but the eCPM way down.  Just the luck of the draw I guess. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out today with the lower visitors and advertisements getting pulled.
