Mozilla Firefox Ribbons (aka Bands)

I recently created a script to allow others to easily use Mozilla Firefox Ribbons, watch out though, you can only use the script if you are using Firefox! ;) (that wasn’t done on purpose, for the most part at least. IE just has problems with innerHTML).

The ribbons are like banners, but more outofthewayish. There’s three different groups to choose from: left, right and middle. So far, all seem to be working great. I don’t know exactly which has the highest performance, but it most-likely depends on the website.

My favorite feature is that you can select ’show in IE only’ or ’show in all’. It works great. The reason why it’s my favorite is because IE put out this code in order to fix it’s own problems with CSS (at least that’s what it’s being used for most and gained the most publicity when IE 7 Beta 1 came out). So it’s like using their own crapshots against themselves.

So please feel free to check it out, and if you don’t have an account at Spread Firefox!, go get one!
