GoDaddy.com Uh… Tell me?

Yesterday, my website poemofquotes.com’s hosting was suspended by GoDaddy. Why? Noone knows! Well, sort of. During my original 1 hour phone call, long distance of course, they stated it was *probably* a DOSsing. Then after several long-waiting emails, over 24 hours, it was stated that a script was using between 200 and 400MB of RAM a pop. What scripts? They wouldn’t tell me. Whenever I would ask, they would ‘transfer’ me to the ‘advanced’ tech support… which in turn told me nothing.

Somehow they knew that my website was the one causing this usage… but can’t give me a timeframe or name of page it’s happening on? Uhm… WHA?

The craziest thing of it all is what happened AFTER they told me this… They tried to tell me a Dedicated Server!

Why in the lords name would I EVER consider doing something like that with the crap ass customer support and no answers and an auto-suspension for something they can’t explain?

Oh… and on the original phonecall which took over an hour long for me to get a crap answer and a reason which would later change… the guy tried to sell me more domains. Yep. After being frustrated, waiting for an hour for someone to tell me something… which they never answered… he tried to sell me a freaking domain.

What the hell? WHY? Does GoDaddy love to frustrate its costumers? Or is Godaddy just that far out of touch and is just too big for its own good?

I used the service for a year. Virtually no problems whats-so-ever, then this happens. Just a week after I bought a new year-long contract. Yeah… Godaddy, go suck a weasel.

Today, I found a different host and transferred my domain.

NEVER USE GODADDY!
