Jim Ryun ’sweet’ House Deal

Jim Ryun’s Sweet Deal
Once again our beloved Congressman was caught in shady practices. He bought a historic Capital Hill town house for $410,000 on Dec. 15, 2000, just two years after a Tom Delay/Jack Abramoff organization bought it for $19,000 less, even though there was a sharp property value rise.

For the tax year of 2007, the house is worth $764,310.

When asked about why he got such a sweet deal, Ryun stated that an inspector said $20,000 was needed to repair the home.
