CNN.com - Cheney accidentally shoots fellow hunter - Feb 12, 2006
Not exactly sure how ‘political’ this is, besides the fact that it is our Vice President.
This article really bothered me and so did the comments by Armstrong, the owner of the ranch they were hunting at.
Armstrong kept using the word ‘peppered’ for what had happened. Sorry lady, but an inch either way could have kill or blinded Whittington.
This is just ridiculous. Since when was shotting a man in his face become a time where you can use such vile words to describe it? Sure a few years down the road it would be funny… but the day after? Come on.
Also, why did the White House wait 24 hours to report this? Do they have to act slowly on even smaller matters? Geez give me a break!
