We all know about it, we all talk about it and we face it everyday. But why do some Christians simply hate evolution? Maybe we will never know, but their arguments are quite cunning.
1. They don’t like the idea of there “being nothing, then everything appears out of nowhere”, even though they have no problem with some random guy creating everything out of nowhere.
2. Because God put dinosaurs on Earth to test their faith, even though he is all knowing and knows that it will not alter their believes.
3. They believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old. Because, the Bible should be taken literally.
4. Because Genesis is one of the most important pieces of their religion, although disregard much of the rest of the Old Testement unless it has to do with homosexuality, sex, or passing on their religion. Funny thing is, they believe parts of the same book (meaning within the same , but not other parts:
Leviticus 18:22, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”
Leviticus 20:13, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
Deuteronomy 23:17, “There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.”
Deuteronomy 22:28-29, “If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.”
Deuteronomy 14:7, “Nevertheless, you are not to eat of these among those which chew the cud, or among those that divide the hoof in two: the camel and the rabbit and the shaphan, for though they chew the cud, they do not divide the hoof; they are unclean for you.”
Leviticus 11:7, “And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.”
Of course, they take something like homosexuality and are totally against it, but how many of those same people eat pork?
5. They argue that there is a “missing link” in evolution so it must be false. Other than the missing link theory being a myth, they use the “missing link” theory to justify their hate, but dismiss anyone who says something about the missing years of Jesus’ life and any talk of him being married during that time.

The Bible. Ever read it? If you add up the dates from Adam to Jesus and how long each person lived that is the date. It is well cited. Just grab a Bible and see for yourself.
