Why do contests hate me?

So I’ve been joining quite a few contests lately, but I can’t seem to figure it out. Although, yes, most are completely random, I would have to think my chances are good to win at least one.

I suppose I should try more, because really, chances are better right? Well, not statistically but theoretically.

Anyway, just thought I would update something on this blog instead of just letting it die, although I probably should.

Hey Gary — I never win either. I can’t tell you how much money I’ve spent on lottery tickets and never won the first dime. I must be a glutton as I buy a ticket a week thinking SURELY my luck will change.

I tell my husband it’s because I am so lucky in love.

@Margaret well, I have won a few things if you count lottery tickets. I never bought the powerball tickets, but the scratchoffs. When I was 15 or so, a few of us from track and field would go to a convenient store to buy them. We were all underage, so technically against the law, yet they never checked ID. I won $60 once and $20 a few other times. By the end of it all though, I probably spent more than what I made.
