The signings of Scott Elarton, second baseman Mark Grudzielanek, first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz and catcher Paul Bako were announced this morning by Allard Baird.
Elarton’s deal is a two year deal, while Grudzielanek’s is a one year with a club option for a second, while Mientkiewicz and Bako’s are one year deals.
A little late in reporting this, but it’s great news for KC Royals. The Royals traded Jonah Bayliss and a player to be named later to the Pirates for Mark Redman.
